A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OUR READERS!
At our Christmas Day service of readings and carols, worshippers were treated to a wonderful video of children from our Sunday School dancing to a song about Jesus the Light of the world. Sisters Preethi and Belinda had worked on this with the children, and Sister Priyanka prepared and edited the video. This really was a highpoint in our church life this Christmas!
Last Sunday the sermon was preached by Brother Sam. We also played a recording of Sister Kelly singing "Give Thanks With A Grateful Heart". Thank you, all contributors!
Join us again for worship with Holy Communion this Sunday at 11 am CET. If you wish to take part in Communion, have some red wine, grape juice (or water) and bread or matza prepared before the service.
Here is your link for this Sunday's service on Zoom at 11 am CET: Warsaw International Church - Sunday Service Meeting ID: 818 1714 5932
Recordings of our Sunday services are available on our wic.org.pl website or by googling "Warsaw International Church YouTube".
Our church’s Annual Conference will take place after the Sunday service on 31 January. It will be open to anyone who would like to take part, but only official members will be able to vote. Membership of Warsaw International Church is free of charge, and there is no clash with your home church, because ours is a non-denominational church: we don’t represent any particular Christian confession. Your membership expires whenever you decide. Please consider if you want to become an official member of WIC. If so, please contact Pastor Harry or any member of the church council you know.
Thank you for all your support and prayers for our church and for one another!

Please continue to pray for our worshippers who are applying for asylum due to persecution in their home countries: Vahid is applying in the UK, and the Green family in Azerbaijan. Pray that their applications may be approved and asylum granted.
Please continue to pray for Gabriele in Sicily. He and many members of his family have COVID-19. They are generally feeling better but need your prayers to recover completely.
Brother Bogosi would welcome your prayers that he and his family may be able to fly to Poland after the Christmas holiday.
Pray that people all over the world may turn to Jesus Christ the only Saviour of mankind. May we never stop praying for this during this time of spiritual awakening opportunities.
Last Sunday's message was delivered by Brother Sam, who spoke of the need for an anointing of the Holy Spirit in order that "nets may be full of fish" as souls in their hundreds and thousands are brought by Christ into the Kingdom of God.

Food of the Spirit
Have We Lost the Fire?
How many of us need to find a humble altar and pray through to a new unction [anointing] of the Holy Spirit? This is an age of lightness. It is more pleasing and popular to soothe and console and to entertain than to warn people to flee from the wrath to come. All around us are lovely people, apparently successful people, seemingly satisfied people – yet they are LOST! Who cares? Who has the holy boldness to witness and to preach the Gospel to them instead of merely passing the time of day or chatting in idle conversation with them?
Crucial conditions exist in many places around the world. Yet multitudes go on their light-hearted way with no concern for preparing for the eternity that lies ahead.
Christians, what an hour to preach the Gospel “with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven!” Some of us ought to pray more for our families, for those with whom we work, for our neighbours and friends. We ought to witness more to them. In addition, we can unite our efforts and, through the printed word, we can go far and near urging people to lay hold on eternal life.
